Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IGFBP-1 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IGFBP-2, IGFBP-3, IGFBP-5, IGFBP-6, and IGFBP-7.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The IGFBP-1 gene belongs to the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family. It encodes a protein containing both an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. This protein binds insulin-like growth factors (IGF-I and IGF-II) and circulates in plasma, prolonging IGF half-life and modulating receptor interactions.
