Target Information
The SERPINA10 gene encodes a serpin family protein predominantly expressed in the liver and secreted into plasma. It inhibits coagulation factors Xa and XIa in the presence of protein Z, calcium, and phospholipid. Mutations are associated with venous thrombosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
