Target Information
RNA polymerase II는 mRNA와 다양한 비암호화 RNA를 합성하는 효소입니다. POLR2A 유전자는 RNA polymerase II의 가장 큰 서브유닛인 RPB1을 암호화합니다. RPB1의 C-terminal domain(CTD)은 YSPTSPS 서열을 가지는 반복된 헵타펩타이드 구조를 포함합니다. 이 서열 내의 Serine-2 및 Serine-5 잔기의 인산화는 전사 주기 조절 인자 및 RNA 처리 인자의 결합을 조정하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
