Target Information
Cystatin A (STF1, STFA, stefin A, cystatin AS)와 Cystatin B (PME, CST6, STFB, CPI-B, stefin B, liver thiol proteinase inhibitor)는 티올 프로테아제 억제제로서 Papain 및 Cathepsins B, H, L과 복합체를 형성합니다.
Cystatin A는 각질형성세포 내 세포질 단백질로서 피부 발달과 유지에 관여하며, Cystatin B는 리소좀에서 유출되는 세포 내 프로테아제에 대해 보호 역할을 하며 주로 심장, 간, 신장에서 발현됩니다.
