Target Information
SIRT2 단백질(Sirtuin 2)은 NAD 의존성 탈아세틸화효소(NAD-dependent deacetylase, NDAC)로, 유전자 발현 억제, 세포주기 조절, DNA 손상 복구에 관여합니다.
SIRT2는 인간 교종(glioma)에서 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있으며, 분자 마커로 활용될 수 있습니다. 또한 영양 섭취와 운동에 따른 근육 유전자 발현 조절에 관여하는 산화환원 센서(redox sensor)로 알려져 있습니다.
세포 분열 과정 중 G2기 후반부터 M기, 세포질 분열(cytokinesis)에 이르는 인산화 연쇄 반응에서 SIRT2가 중요한 역할을 합니다.
