Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- The antigen is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebra fish, xenopus, and chicken.
- Specificity: Erk1 and Erk2.
Target Information
ERK1 and ERK2 are widely expressed and involved in the regulation of meiosis, mitosis, and postmitotic functions in differentiated cells.
Various stimuli such as growth factors, cytokines, virus infection, and transforming agents activate the ERK1/2 pathways.
Upon activation, ERKs phosphorylate cytoplasmic targets or migrate to the nucleus to activate transcription factors including c-Fos and Elk-1.
