Target Information
DPP6 encodes a single-pass type II membrane protein that belongs to the S9B family in clan SC of the serine proteases. Although it lacks protease activity due to the absence of a conserved serine residue, it binds specific voltage-gated potassium channels and influences their expression and biophysical properties. Multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
