Target Information
Nicotinic acid (NA; niacin)는 nicotinic acid phosphoribosyltransferase (NAPRT; EC 2.4.2.11)에 의해 NA mononucleotide (NaMN)로 전환되며, 이후 NA adenine dinucleotide (NaAD), 최종적으로 nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD)로 변환됩니다. NAD는 세포 내 산화환원 반응의 조효소로 작용하며, 스트레스 반응을 포함한 다양한 세포 대사 과정에서 필수적인 역할을 합니다 (Hara et al., 2007).
