BLAST analysis suggests reactivity with Cbl-c from human and chimpanzee sources.
Partial reactivity expected with mouse and rat Cbl-c (~83% sequence homology).
No reactivity expected with Cbl-a or Cbl-b.
Target Information
Cbl-c is a member of the Cbl family of E3 ubiquitin ligases involved in tyrosine kinase downregulation via ubiquitination.
Expression may be restricted to epithelial cells.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing.
