Target Information
SMNDC1 유전자는 SMN1 유전자의 상동유전자로, SMN1은 생존 운동 뉴런 단백질을 암호화하며 돌연변이는 상염색체 열성 근위축증(spinal muscular atrophy)의 원인이 됩니다. SMNDC1 단백질은 spliceosome 복합체의 구성 성분으로 확인되었으며, 골격근에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. SMN1과 유사한 세포 기능을 공유할 가능성이 있습니다.
