Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The Betatrophin protein (also known as hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein TD26) is an adipocyte- and liver-enriched insulin-targeted gene involved in lipid metabolism and regulation of serum triglyceride levels.
It is closely related to the angiopoietin-like (ANGPTL) protein family. Betatrophin mRNA levels increase under cold exposure and high-fat diet conditions, but decrease during fasting, suggesting its role in thermogenesis and energy homeostasis.
