Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
TAF1B is a component of the RNA polymerase I core factor complex that functions as a GTF2B/TFIIB-like factor. It plays a crucial role in transcription initiation, including preinitiation complex (PIC) assembly and post-polymerase recruitment events in Pol I transcription. TAF1B binds rDNA promoters and contributes to Pol I recruitment as part of the SL1/TIF-IB complex and possibly through direct interaction with RRN3.
