Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CA125 determinant is present on a high molecular weight, mucin-like glycoprotein. It is expressed in tissues derived from coelomic and mullerian epithelium, such as pleura, pericardium, and peritoneum.
In adults, it is found in epithelial cells of the fallopian tube, endometrium, endocervix, pancreas, colon, gall bladder, stomach, kidney, apocrine sweat gland, and mammary gland.
CA125 is also expressed in mesothelial cell linings and ovarian tumors of serous, endometrioid, or clear cell types, as well as in adenocarcinomas of mullerian origin.
