This antibody reacts with Escherichia coli DH5α (E. coli DH5α).
E. coli is a gram-negative bacillus belonging to the Enterobacteriaceae family, commonly inhabiting the gastrointestinal tract. Although usually harmless, certain strains can cause disease in immunocompromised hosts or when producing pathogenic toxins.
The E. coli DH5α strain is an engineered strain widely used in biopharmaceutical research. Detection of residual DH5α bacterial proteins in biological products is important for quality control. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with DH5α bacterial protein and purified by affinity chromatography to obtain IgG. It is suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and other experimental assays.
