Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and have well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets. Secondary antibodies enable the use of multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence, and provide signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
