RNA Polymerase II의 크로마틴 결합을 조절하여 전사 조절에 기여하며, mRNA 스플라이싱 효율과 스플라이스 부위 선택에 영향을 줍니다.
R-loop RNA-DNA hybrid 형성 해소, 전사 종결, DNA 이중가닥 절단 손상 반응, 생식세포 발달, 텔로미어 안정성 및 신경세포 성장 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 retinoic acid 유도 세포사멸을 억제하는 기능을 가집니다.
