Target Information

Plays a role in transcription regulation by modulating RNA Polymerase II (Pol II) binding to chromatin and interacting with transcription-related proteins. Contributes to mRNA splicing efficiency and splice site selection. Required for resolution of R-loop RNA-DNA hybrids, enabling efficient RNA polymerase II transcription termination. Involved in circadian rhythm regulation through transcriptional termination of PER1 and CRY2. Participates in DNA double-strand break damage response under oxidative stress and targets RNA exosome complex to transcription-induced DNA damage sites. Essential for male meiosis and gene silencing during meiotic sex chromosome inactivation. May regulate telomeric stability via TERRA transcription control. Plays a role in neurite outgrowth in hippocampal cells and inhibits retinoic acid-induced apoptosis.
