Product Specific Information

The FN50 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD69, also known as very early activation antigen (VEA). CD69 (~30 kDa) is expressed on the cell surface as a disulfide-linked dimer and is rapidly upregulated upon activation, found on lymphocytes, monocytes, and platelets.

• Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested with stimulated normal human peripheral blood cells
  • Use at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL)
  • Recommended cell range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test

Alexa Fluor 561 emits at 575 nm and is suitable for spectral cytometers, multiplexed with PE and PE-eFluor 610.

Target Information

CD69 (AIM, Active Inducer Molecule) is a gp28/34 disulfide-bonded homodimer (~60 kDa under non-reducing conditions). It contains N-linked oligosaccharides and is present on activated platelets. CD69 expression is induced upon activation of T lymphocytes and plays a role in proliferation and signal transduction in lymphocytes, NK cells, and platelets.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Associated diseases include coccidiodomycosis and asthma.
