Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody r2a-21B2 recognizes Rat IgG2a antibodies and serves as a secondary reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy. It does not cross-react with other rat isotypes or mouse antibodies.

• Recommended use: ≤ 0.06 µg per test (100 µL reaction volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information

Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with high specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling various detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled rat immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, or label conjugation).
