Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. It possesses tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.

• Applications Tested: Validated for mouse bone marrow cells at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
• Excitation/Emission: 405 nm / 780 nm (Violet laser)
• Recommended Filter: 780/60 bandpass

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific interactions.
For compensation, use cells rather than beads when possible (e.g., UltraComp eBeads or AbC Total Antibody Compensation beads).

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333).

Target Information

CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells. It regulates Src-family kinases, antigen receptor signaling, and cytokine receptor signaling. CD45 isoforms arise from alternative splicing and vary in extracellular domains. It is crucial for lymphocyte development, survival, and immune regulation through modulation of integrin-mediated pathways and apoptosis.
