Target Information
PYCARD는 세포사멸(apoptosis)과 염증반응(inflammation)의 핵심 매개체로 작용합니다.
주로 caspase-8 및 caspase-9을 통한 세포사멸을 촉진하며, 미토콘드리아 경로 활성화 및 BAX 의존성 세포사멸에도 관여합니다.
또한 inflammasome 복합체 조립에 필수적인 어댑터 단백질로, caspase-1 활성화를 유도하여 염증성 사이토카인 분비를 조절합니다.
NLRP3, AIM2, IFI16 등의 패턴 인식 수용체와 상호작용하며, 다양한 세포 유형에서 염증 및 면역 반응 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
적응 면역에서도 수지상세포의 성숙 및 T세포 면역 자극에 관여하며, NF-κB 신호전달 조절에도 영향을 미칩니다.
