Target Information
T-box transcription factors are a group of phylogenetically conserved genes characterized by the T-box DNA-binding domain. These genes are involved in regulating developmental processes. In mouse embryos, Tbx15 is expressed from day 9.5, mainly in the craniofacial region and developing limbs. Twelve human T-box genes have been identified. TBX18 participates in developmental processes and functions as an antiapoptotic factor.
