Target Information
RPS15A consists of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits comprise 4 RNA species and approximately 80 distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is part of the 40S subunit and belongs to the S8P family. It is located in the cytoplasm. As typical for ribosomal protein genes, multiple processed pseudogenes are dispersed throughout the genome.
