Target Information

Thrombospondin is a protein found in platelet α-granules, composed of three identical subunits linked by interchain disulfide bonds. It is secreted at sites of platelet activation and aggregation and plays roles in chemotaxis, adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation of leukocytes, fibroblasts, smooth muscle, and endothelial cells.
