Target Information
CDf (Integrin alpha-6, ITGA6)는 인테그린 알파 체인 단백질로, 알파 및 베타 체인으로 구성된 세포 표면 단백질입니다. 각 체인은 다양한 파트너와 결합하여 여러 형태의 인테그린을 형성합니다. 예를 들어, alpha 6은 beta 4와 결합하여 TSP180으로, beta 1과 결합하여 VLA-6으로 알려진 인테그린을 형성합니다.
인테그린은 세포 부착 및 세포 표면 신호 전달에 관여하며, ECM(세포외기질)과 상호작용하여 세포 형태, 이동성, 세포주기 진행 등을 조절합니다. 또한 성장 인자 신호와 통합되어 세포 증식, 세포골격 재구성, 생존 등 다양한 반응을 조절합니다.
CDf는 주로 상피세포에서 발현되며, 헤미데스모솜 구조 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 포유류에서는 18개 이상의 알파 및 8개 이상의 베타 서브유닛이 다양한 스플라이스 변형 형태로 존재합니다. 일부 인테그린은 ICAM 등 인접 세포의 수용체와 결합하여 세포 응집을 유도하기도 합니다.
