PA1-4174 detects NKIAMRE in human samples.
It has been successfully used in Western blot procedures.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues N(414) C N G L K E N P H C G G S V(428) of the 50 kDa human NKIAMRE.
Maintain at 4ºC for 3 months or at -20ºC for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase (CDK) family.
CDK family members are highly similar to the gene products of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cdc28 and Schizosaccharomyces pombe cdc2, and are important regulators of cell cycle progression.
This gene was identified as absent in leukemic patients with chromosome 5q deletion, which may contribute to dysmyelopoiesis.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
