Product Specific Information
The MJ7/18 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD105 molecule (Endoglin), a 90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells. CD105 is involved in cell adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on bEnd.3 cells and mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration is recommended for specific assays.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on vascular endothelial cells. It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer and is upregulated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, serving as a marker for endothelial proliferation. CD105 binds TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity but not TGF-β2.
