Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type) is an endothelial lipase and a member of the lipoprotein lipase gene family. It is synthesized by endothelial cells and functions locally, playing a role in modulating lipoprotein metabolism. Overexpression of LIPG reduces HDL cholesterol levels, while deficiency increases HDL levels in animals.
LIPG exhibits phospholipase activity, participates in vascular biology, and is a carboxyl esterase that hydrolyzes high-density lipoproteins and emulsifies triglycerides, essential for efficient digestion of dietary fats. It binds to heparin and shares structural features with TG lipase family enzymes.
