Target Information
The Wilms Tumor 1 (WT1) gene encodes a protein involved in nuclear envelope association through interaction with WPP domain-interacting proteins. WT1 plays a critical role in nucleocytoplasmic transport, spindle formation, and nuclear envelope reassembly via Ran GTPase regulation. In Arabidopsis thaliana, WT1 and WIT2 are identified as CC-TMD proteins essential for RanGAP nuclear envelope association in root tip cells.
