Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
XRCC3 encodes a member of the RecA/Rad51-related protein family involved in homologous recombination for chromosome stability and DNA repair. It complements repair-deficient mutants sensitive to DNA-damaging agents. A rare microsatellite polymorphism in XRCC3 is associated with cancer susceptibility. Alternative splicing variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
