Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Sav1 is a regulator of STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 in the Hippo signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in organ size control and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
The pathway involves a kinase cascade where STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1, in complex with SAV1, phosphorylate and activate LATS1/2 with MOB1. This leads to phosphorylation and inactivation of YAP1 and WWTR1/TAZ, preventing their nuclear translocation and regulating genes involved in proliferation, apoptosis, and migration.
SAV1 is essential for STK3/MST2 and STK4/MST1 activation, promoting cell-cycle exit and differentiation in epithelial tissues. It also regulates centrosome disjunction by controlling NEK2 localization and phosphorylation of CROCC and CEP250. Together with STK3/MST2, SAV1 enhances ESR1 transcriptional activity via phosphorylation modulation.
