Target Information
PITPNM1 regulates RHOA activity and plays a role in cytoskeleton remodeling and cytokinesis completion. It maintains normal diacylglycerol levels in the Golgi apparatus, binds phosphatidyl inositol phosphates (in vitro), and may catalyze the transfer of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes. It is essential for maintaining the structure of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus and for protein export. Also binds calcium ions.
