Target Information

The KIF25 protein belongs to the kinesin-like protein family, which functions as microtubule-dependent molecular motors responsible for organelle transport and chromosome movement during cell division.
Although the specific function of KIF25 remains unclear, two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified. Other variants lacking exon 2 and the translation initiation codon have also been described.
