Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

Dicer is a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) endoribonuclease that plays a central role in short dsRNA-mediated post-transcriptional gene silencing. It cleaves long dsRNAs and short hairpin pre-microRNAs (miRNA) into 21–23 nucleotide fragments with 3′ overhangs, producing small interfering RNAs (siRNA) and mature microRNAs (miRNA). These RNA molecules guide the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) to complementary RNAs, leading to degradation or translational repression.
RNA interference mediated by siRNAs regulates the removal of transcripts from repetitive DNA elements and degradation of exogenous viral RNAs, while the miRNA pathway specifically regulates gene expression.
