Antibody detects endogenous levels of total THAP11.
Target Information
This gene encodes two proteins, the SART1 protein expressed in the nucleus of proliferating cells, and the SART1 protein expressed in the cytosol of epithelial cancers. The SART1 protein is translated by -1 frameshifting during posttranscriptional regulation; its full-length sequence is not published yet. Both proteins are involved in proliferation regulation and possess tumor-rejection antigens. The SART1 protein induces HLA-A2402-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients and may be useful in cancer immunotherapy and diagnosis. It is essential for tri-snRNP recruitment in spliceosome assembly.
