Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) prior to use.
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily.
ERR family members share a highly conserved DNA-binding domain with 68% amino acid identity to the estrogen receptor.
ERR1 binds to the ERR-alpha response element (ERRE, 5’-tnaaggtca-3’) and regulates the medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (MCAD) promoter.
It functions as a metabolic regulator, predominantly expressed in tissues that metabolize fatty acids.
The corresponding gene for ERR1 is NR3B1.
