Target Information
Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass commonly used in research and diagnostic applications. It is produced by the rat immune system and is capable of complement activation and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC). With a molecular weight of approximately 160 kDa, it consists of two heavy and two light chains. It serves as a control or reference antibody in rat model experiments and is widely used in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.
