- Description: Monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Target Information
Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a role in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It also regulates immune responses, including T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
Mouse IgG2b is widely used in research and diagnostics, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in immunotherapy and vaccine development.
