For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Factor XII is a single-chain zymogen converted into a two-chain serine protease composed of a heavy chain (alpha-factor XIIa) and a light chain.

• The heavy chain includes fibronectin-type domains, EGF-like domains, a kringle domain, and a proline-rich domain.
• The light chain contains a catalytic domain.
  Upon activation, further cleavage produces beta-factor XIIa chains.
  Factor XII participates in blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and the generation of bradykinin and angiotensin. It activates coagulation factors VII and XI.
  Defects in this gene may prolong whole-blood clotting time without causing clinical symptoms.
