For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Factor XII is a single-chain zymogen that converts into a two-chain serine protease composed of a heavy chain (α-Factor XIIa) and a light chain.
The heavy chain includes fibronectin-type domains, EGF-like domains, a kringle domain, and a proline-rich domain, while the light chain contains a catalytic domain.
Upon activation, further cleavages occur, producing β-Factor XIIa. Factor XII activates prekallikrein to kallikrein, which in turn cleaves Factor XII, initiating blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, and the generation of bradykinin and angiotensin.
Defects in this gene prolong whole-blood clotting time without causing clinical symptoms.
