Target Information
BMPR1A는 TGF-β 수용체 초가족(Type I)에 속하는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제(transmembrane kinase)로, 골형태형성단백질(BMPs)에 반응하여 세포 내 SMAD 단백질을 인산화합니다. 이 수용체는 activin 수용체(ACVR1, ACVR2)와 밀접한 관련이 있으며, TGF-β 및 activin 신호전달은 두 가지 타입의 수용체 복합체를 통해 이루어집니다. Type II 수용체는 Type I 수용체 없이 리간드를 결합할 수 있으나 신호 전달에는 Type I 수용체가 필요하며, Type I 수용체는 리간드 결합을 위해 Type II 수용체가 필요합니다.
