Target Information
RING1 유전자는 RING finger family에 속하며, RING 도메인이라는 아연 결합 모티프를 포함한 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 DNA에 결합할 수 있고 전사 억제 인자로 작용할 수 있습니다. 또한 polycomb group 단백질 복합체와 관련이 있으며, BMI1, EDR1, CBX4 단백질과 상호작용하고 이들과 함께 핵 내 큰 도메인에서 공위치합니다. CBX4 단백질과는 글라이신이 풍부한 C-말단 도메인을 통해 상호작용합니다. 이 유전자는 HLA class II 영역에 위치하며, RING finger 유전자 FABGL 및 HKE4와 인접해 있습니다.
