Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human E-Cadherin, N-Cadherin, P-Cadherin, VE-Cadherin, Cadherin-8, -11, -12, or -17 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene has a C-terminal domain with tRNA 3′ processing endoribonuclease activity, which catalyzes the removal of the 3′ trailer from precursor tRNAs. It interacts with activated Smad2 and its nuclear partner forkhead box H1 (FAST-1). Reduced expression can suppress TGF-β–induced growth arrest, and mutations in this gene are associated with increased risk of prostate cancer. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
