Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed in HEK293 cells. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The DAXX gene encodes a multifunctional protein localized in both the nucleus and cytoplasm. It interacts with various proteins including apoptosis antigen Fas, centromere protein C, and transcription factor E26 oncogene homolog 1. In the nucleus, DAXX acts as a transcriptional repressor binding to sumoylated transcription factors. Repression can be relieved by sequestration into PML nuclear bodies or nucleoli. The protein also associates with centromeres during the G2 phase and may regulate apoptosis in the cytoplasm. Its localization and function are influenced by post-translational modifications such as sumoylation, phosphorylation, and polyubiquitination. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
