Target Information
GBA는 리소좀 막 단백질을 암호화하며, glycolipid 대사 과정의 중간체인 glycosylceramide의 β-glucosidic 결합을 절단합니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 glucocerebroside가 축적되는 Gaucher 병을 유발합니다. 관련된 유사 유전자는 염색체 1의 약 12 kb 하류에 위치하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변이가 생성됩니다.
