히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 뉴클레오솜 코어에서 돌출되어 있으며, 다양한 번역 후 수식(메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등)을 통해 염색질 구조 및 전사 인자 결합을 조절합니다.
