GABARAP(GABAA receptor-associated protein)은 GABAA 수용체를 세포골격에 연결하며, 수용체의 세포 내 수송 및 세포골격과의 상호작용에 관여합니다. GABARAP는 MAP1 또는 ATG8 유사 단백질군에 속하며, 최근 연구에서는 MAPK15/ERK8이 ATG8 계열 단백질과 상호작용하여 자가포식 조절에 관여함이 밝혀졌습니다.
