Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Nectin-3 is an 83 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein, part of the immunoglobulin supergene family.
It functions as a calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion molecule and forms junctions such as adherens junctions, synaptic junctions, and Sertoli cell-spermatid junctions.
Nectin-3 interacts with afadin and CD155 (Poliovirus Receptor), playing a role in cell adhesion and tissue organization.
It is predominantly expressed in testis and placental tissues, with three isoforms (α, β, γ), where α is the largest.
Injection of antibody 103-A1 into seminiferous tubules disrupts actin filaments in Sertoli cells and causes exfoliation of maturing spermatids.
