Target Information
CD52 (CAMPATH-1 antigen) is a glycoprotein expressed on immune cells such as T and B lymphocytes, NK cells, and monocytes. It regulates immune responses and is studied as a therapeutic target in diseases like multiple sclerosis, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and autoimmune disorders. CD52 is the target of alemtuzumab, a monoclonal antibody used to deplete CD52-expressing immune cells.
