Target Information
The enzyme encoded by the HAGH gene is a thiolesterase responsible for hydrolyzing S-lactoyl-glutathione to reduced glutathione and D-lactate.
Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
Diseases associated with HAGH include Hydroxyacyl Glutathione Hydrolase Deficiency.
